Hi, I'm Claire Sterling! I'm a product designer in Portland, OR where I've been working in footwear for the past six years after starting my career in apparel and materials. I currently work on Bad Bunny, The Whitaker Group, and Fashion Influencer projects.

 

I graduated from NC State's Wilson College of Textiles in 2014 with a BS in Fashion and Textile Management, and again in 2016 with an MS in Product Development and Design. I've since worked in material and color development for Marmot Mountain and Keen Footwear, apparel design for Alpine Parrot, and footwear and color and material design for the Culture, Collaboration and Partnerships team at adidas.

I enjoy pulling design inspiration from nature and translating it into product through novel material, textures and technology. I enjoy putting a personal spin on new trends in the fashion world and working to showcase the design ethos of our collaborators through the adidas lens.
